Mumbai, 12 March 2024 :- Prashasti Priya, a law professional hailing from Saharsa, Bihar, has become an inspiring example of determination and courage as she pursued her passion against all odds to transform her career. After three years of professional experience as a legal manager, Prashasti faced a crucial crossroads in her career. Prashasti Priya , Sharing her experience, she said, “It definitely was challenging because the course required an assignment submission every 2nd week, the plagiarism rules were extremely strict, and some subjects were really difficult, but I knew I had to do this to enhance my career opportunities. The mentorship and guidance I received from my upGrad counsellor helped me a lot through this phase and kept me going. The counsellor was there with me evert step of the way which made this course feel like a cakewalk. I did not ask for a single penny from anyone, including my parents, to pursue this course. It took monthly EMIs and tight financial planning, but I made it happen.”

Prashasti’s focus on women’s financial empowerment stems from her experience from working in women’s rights, both in rural and urban areas. Driven by the desire to be recognized for her legal acumen, Prashasti aspired to work for a top law firm. The JGLS law program unleashed her potential, and she successfully transitioned to becoming an Associate at one of India’s best legal firms, working alongside some of the country’s best minds.
