Producer director Rakesh Subesingh Dulgaj of the film ‘Chhatrapati Shambhaji’ invited the media to the Country Club of Mumbai. In this event, Jankidas Ji Maharaj of Chitrakoot Dham, Dilip Dalvi, Secretary of Western Indian Film Producer Association, the entire team of the film and the actor along with members of the media were present. The producer director says that the work of the film has been completed and has been sent to the censor board where the entire process has been completed. The Censor Board had also talked about giving U A certificate to the film and asked to provide the certificate on January 25. Therefore, the director and the film distributor had booked many cinema houses to release the film on the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January. The film was to be released in Hindi and Marathi languages but the Censor Board did not grant the certificate. To get the certificate of the film quickly, a condition was imposed that some dialogues of the film should be removed. Many times the Censor Board is reluctant to grant certificate to the film on one pretext or the other. Due to all this, the film producer had to suffer huge financial loss. Censor Board’s Regional Officer Saeed Rabihashmi has demanded proof whether Aurangzeb had actually asked Chhatrapati Shambhaji to accept Islam or tortured him in some way. In this regard, the film team also presented historical evidence to the censor but did not receive a satisfactory reply. The film team also informed many politicians of the country on Twitter and mail against the negligence of the Censor Board and requested for appropriate action, but there is still silence on this subject. Dilip Dalvi also said that many filmmakers are hurt due to the lackadaisical attitude of the Censor Board. The Censor Board pays attention only to the films of big production houses. Due to this attitude, many producers are facing immense mental and financial problems to get the film certificate. The film has not yet received any political support but is getting the support of saints. He has said that this is a patriotic film, through this film the future youth will know about our history and the sacrifice, hard work and sacrifice of the patriots. Today, any film which confuses and misleads the youth easily gets certificate while the film which appears truthful has to face difficulties. If the Censor Board does not take concrete steps, the film team and Santsangh will be forced to take strict action against the Censor Board. In the land of Maharashtra, a patriot and Sanatan like Chhatrapati Shambhaji Maharaj is being insulted, which is unbearable and it is necessary for the public to take cognizance of it.
